Issue with media section of Actor profile

Hi, I’ve been tasked with editing and reformatting Actor profiles added by colleagues and I’ve run into an issue relating to the Media section. It seems that some of my colleagues have entered phrases in the ‘Media Category’ box that do not correspond with any available tags (we don’t seem to have any tags currently in use). When I try to save the edited profiles that have media saved like this I receive this error message:

[medias.0.category]: Invalid value for field: Input should be a valid dictionary or instance of PartialMediaCategoryModel

preventing me from saving the profile. It appears that the only to update such profiles is to delete the media. However when I try to reupload the media I am unable to as I am told:

Error, file already exists

With word documents I’ve been able to edit the document and save with a different name in order to upload successfully, however with photos and PDFs this does not work.

Is there a way to edit the media once it’s been uploaded to the Actor profile? Or is there a separate location where this media is available? (so I could potentially delete pre-existing copies in order to re-upload?)

Thank you for your time and assistance.
